It says hello.
And, when it's time, goodbye.

Ciao is a wall panel for premium rentals. It wakes as your guests walk in, greets them by name, and knows the house better than a binder ever did. No camera. Nothing leaves the building.

Three moments of a stay

The panel does very little, deliberately. It shows up when it is useful and goes quiet when it isn't.

Arrival

A radar sensor notices someone a few metres away. The halo fades up, the screen says good evening by name, and that is the only time it speaks unprompted.

The days between

How the hot tub works, where to eat on a Tuesday, tonight's sky, the trail that fits before lunch. Directions go to their phone with one tap.

The panel's checkout screen with a short checklist

Leaving

A short checklist, a gentle reminder at the right hour, and a chance to tell you something privately before they write the public review.

Built to be lived with

Not a tablet in a frame. A piece of the wall.

Nothing in the house watches your guests.

The panel has no camera. The lens on the tablet inside is covered by solid material and the driver is removed from the software, so even a compromised device sees black.

For the people who own the house

Guests ask the panel first. You hear about it only when the panel can't answer.

Early access

The first panels go into a handful of houses in the Sierra foothills and wine country in spring 2027. Leave an address and we'll write when yours can be one of them.

We reply by email, nothing else. hello@ciaopanel.com works too.
